Series: The Word of Life: Journeying Through the Gospel of John
We know that visiting an unfamiliar church can be intimidating. We want anyone and everyone to feel comfortable joining us in person. Below is some information about what you'll experience on a normal Sunday morning at CCC. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Before the worship service, you are invited to enjoy donuts and coffee in our fellowship hall downstairs. We would love the chance to talk to you and hear your story. Don't be surprised if someone meets you at the door with a smile—we really are glad you're here!
Even if the people you meet here don't look, talk, or dress exactly like you, you'll still fit right in, because we are all part of the same family. We are all imperfect people whose lives have been changed by the perfect love of God, united by our love for Jesus and for one another.
We love to sing, pray, and give in order to show our love for God. Some of our members love old hymns, some love southern gospel, some love more contemporary worship, so you're likely to hear a bit of all of it. Whatever style we're singing, you can expect it to be intimate, passionate, and from the heart.
We also collect an offering every Sunday to support the ministry of the church and use what God has given us for His glory; you're welcome to give, of course, but as our guest you shouldn't feel any obligation.
If you have children, you will find a place where they are welcomed and invited to discover God's love for them. A nursing room is available for moms, as well as a nursery staffed by loving volunteers who can't wait to have fun with your little ones. Older children will have the chance to worship with the rest of the church, before being dismissed for Children's Church (grades K-5) before the sermon.
Part of the reason we gather as a church is to hear a message from God's Word that teaches us something about who He is, what He is doing, and how He wants us to respond. Every Sunday, you'll hear a message that seeks to do just that.
