I’ve lived in the rural midwest all my life, and love the close-knit community of small town living. Before answering the call to ministry, I studied theater in creative writing at Millikin University. In other words, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life—but the Lord had ideas. In 2012, He called me to serve as the worship leader at the Gibson City Bible Church. While there, I felt the call to pastoral ministry, began preaching and teaching, completed my MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and was ordained as the church’s worship pastor. In time, the Lord called me to serve as the pastor of Chalmers Community Church, where I have been since February 2020. I live here in Chalmers with my wife Megan and son Matthias. My mission is to equip believers for the work of ministry and help the church become everything God wants her to be. In my free time, I love making music, playing board games with friends, and being a stereotypical nerd.
